Consulting – Project Management (8 h Package)

You have a project to deliver — a data migration, a tool rollout, a process redesign, a BI implementation — but no project manager available in-house. Dekerstorm provides an experienced project manager on a day-rate basis, with no hiring commitment. We take on the scoping, planning, coordination of everyone involved and steering through to closure, while your team retains the decisions.

Projects rarely fail for technical reasons. They fail because the scope was never written down, because dependencies surfaced too late, or because nobody made the call. Our work therefore focuses on:

• A written scope — objectives, deliverables, exclusions and acceptance criteria defined from the outset. Whatever isn't written down always gets renegotiated at the worst possible moment.
• A realistic schedule — milestones, dependencies and the actual availability of everyone involved, including those outside our control.
• A continuously tracked budget — you know the gap between planned and consumed before it becomes a problem.
• Active risk management — identification, scoring, mitigation plans, and escalation whenever the decision is yours.
• Structured communication — a single point of contact, written reports, decisions logged and dated.
• A clean closure — up-to-date documentation, knowledge transfer to your teams, and a lessons-learned review.

Your project is tracked formally, not improvised. You get a live dashboard (progress, milestones, open risks, credit consumption), a steering meeting at an agreed frequency, and a written report after each one. Deliverables and documentation are handed over as we go and remain your property. Any slippage in schedule, scope or workload is flagged as soon as it is identified, together with costed options for how to respond.

The service is purchased as a prepaid package of 8 hours, equivalent to one person-day. You order as many packages as you need; the hours combine into a single credit that is available immediately, and our team contacts you to get the project underway. Work carried out during business hours (Monday to Friday, 8 am – 6 pm) is deducted at actual time; work carried out during premium hours — outside that window and on public holidays — is deducted at a factor of 1.5. Time is counted in 30-minute increments, with a one-hour minimum per intervention, and you receive a monthly consumption statement. The credit is valid for six months from the order date, is non-refundable, and remains usable against any other Dekerstorm service billed by the day or the hour. Travel and external expenses are billed separately, subject to your prior approval. Our general terms and conditions of sale apply.

For assignments running longer than one month, or with different payment arrangements, we issue a dedicated quote and open a customer account, with periodic invoicing based on timesheets.
